  • SCRIP Program at Ecsktein

What is SCRIP? SCRIP allows you to purchase gift cards from 100s of major retailers at face value while earning money for the PTSA – anywhere from 2% to 16% of the purchase price, depending on the retailer. The PTSA has opted to always carry cards from Amazon ($100), PCC ($10), Safeway ($25 and $100), Starbucks ($25), and Target ($50 and $100).

You can also special order cards from hundreds of other retailers. To see a list of all the retailers available, go to shopwithscrip.com then click on “Retailers” (scroll down on the left-hand side of the screen to download the .pdf file of the complete retailer list). Orders will be filled twice a month (perhaps more often as the holidays approach) and cards will be delivered to the front office for pickup. You will be notified by email when your order is ready.

Payment is required in advance; you can make checks payable to Eckstein PTSA or use a credit card for an additional 3.5% fee. The order form can be found HERE. If you have any questions or need any additional information, please contact Laura Spring at laura@springnet.org. Thanks for shopping and thanks for supporting Eckstein!

  • Welcome to Eckstein

I hope you are having a wonderful summer! It is already August and our first day of school is September 6th at 8:55am. Eckstein is beginning to wake up from the July break. Our floors are waxed and we are preparing! 6th grade students will kick off the year with a morning orientation on September 6th. Parents are welcome to walk students to the cafeteria for name tags and then to the auditorium. While 6th graders get oriented, returning 7th and 8th grade students will reconnect with their peers in homeroom and get ready to begin the year. New 7th and 8th graders will have a special orientation—more information will be available on our website. Remember to check the website regularly for updated information.

Parents and Guardians - Student safety is our top priority, and you can help us keep students safe by keeping these things in mind as you drop off and pick up your child at Eckstein:

  • Drive SLOWLY and USE EXTRA CAUTION whenever driving near the school
  • Do NOT drop off or pick up in the bus zone in front of Eckstein - Remind your student to cross the street at the crosswalk in front of the school, not at the corner of 30th & 75th where visibility is poor

Thank you for your cooperation in creating a safe environment for all of our kids!
