Building Our Children's Executive Skills - Parent Workshop Jan 24-6:30 pm
    Posted on 01/08/2018
Wednesday, January 24th in the Eckstein Library from 6:30-7:30pm. What are Executive Skills? Simply put, they are the skills that allow us to get things done and to manage ourselves. They include: sustained attention, task initiation, emotional control, planning, organization, time management and response inhibition to name a few. These skills are vital to success in school, work and life. Middle school is a very key time to build those skills so that adolescents grow into independent adults. Please join the Eckstein Counselors for a workshop on understanding executive skills and building them in our young Eagles.
