    Small Groups starting Second Semester

    The Eckstein Counseling Dept. is excited to announce small group opportunities starting Semester 2.

    Stress & Connection Groups: This group will offer students a chance to connect with one another, content will depend on the size of the group and the interests of the group.

    New to the Neighborhood Groups: this group will offer students who are new to Seattle, new to the neighborhood, or new to Eckstein (not from one of our feeder elementary schools) the chance to connect with other students in similar situations.

    Lunch Bunch: Feeling like you just can’t get enough screen time these days? Come and eat your lunch and talk over Teams.

    6th grade
    Stress & Connection Group; New to the Neighborhood and Lunch Bunch meeting times and duration will be determined based on interest.

    7th grade
    Stress & Connection Group - Fridays, 3:15 pm- 4 pm
    New to the Neighborhood (connection group for kids who have recently moved to the area) - Tuesdays, 3:15-4 pm
    Lunch Bunch - Thursdays, 12:40 pm - 1:25 pm

    8th grade
    Stress & Connection Group: Wednesdays, 1:45 pm - 2:15 pm.
    New to the Neighborhood (connection group for kids who have recently moved to the area): TBD 
    8th Grade Lunch: Tuesdays, 12:40 pm - 1:25 pm.

    We will be hosting as a dept. a Grief and Loss group 6-8 partnering with Safe Crossings.

    We will be sending out referral/recommendation forms. Also, be on the lookout for scheduling Naviance lessons.
