    Posted on 11/27/2018

Please join the Eckstein Counseling Department & special guest, Lisa Davidson, for a workshop on talking to your kids about the risks of nicotine, alcohol & drugs. Wednesday December 5th from 6:30-7:30 in the Eckstein library.

With the variety of ways nicotine, alcohol and drugs are available these days, parents face more challenges than ever to keep their children safe and healthy. Lisa Davidson, Seattle Public Schools Prevention and Intervention Manager, will review different risky behaviors among adolescents and strategies for helping your child navigate the teen years.

    Participants will learn:
    • Five key strategies for preventing risky behavior
    • New products and trends—vaping, over the counter drugs, and more
    • How to have tough conversations
    Questions & open discussion afterwards.
