    Raise the Dollars, Lift the Kids

    Give Now to the Eckstein Annual Campaign!

    What is it?
    The Eckstein Annual Campaign raises money for our Parent Teacher Student Association (PTSA) and is totally parent-funded. The entire yearly budget comes from you.

    Where Does the Money Go?
    The PTSA uses the money to pay for extras our kids need, but the school district doesn’t provide. Things like beakers for science; books for the library; Field Day; a new sound system for the auditorium; resources for math, language arts and social studies; after school programs; coaching staff for sports; up-to-date technology and so much more!

    Who Decides How the Money is Spent?
    Each year, the teachers and staff of Eckstein put in “grant requests” to the PTSA. (For example, the math department may ask for new and better workbooks or the library may need new chairs.) The PTSA works with the principal to determine which grants are funded or deferred, based on need and budget.

    How Much Should I Give?
    The Annual Campaign committee has suggested donation amounts, but Eckstein values ANY donation or your money, time or involvement.

    Eagle Level: $175 (suggested donation per child)
    Soaring Level: $325 (suggested donation per family/multiple students)
    Wings Level: (any amount that is best for you and your family)
    Sponsor: $175 (Please consider sponsoring a family that can’t afford to donate at this time.)

    How do I Give?

    Important! Be sure to add Eckstein #134 in the “To Group” section or Eckstein will NOT get your donation. Even if you donate online, please send in a pledge card to the school.

    Please make your check payable to Alliance for Education/Eckstein #134. Turn in the check and the order form to your child’s homeroom, the front office or by mail to The Eckstein Annual Campaign, Eckstein Middle School, 3003 NE 75th Street, Seattle, WA 98115

    Match Your Donation:
    Does your employer match your charitable giving? If so, please send a hard copy of the completed company matching gift form to the Eckstein front office, or mail to the school at The Eckstein Annual Campaign, Eckstein Middle School, 3003 NE 75th Street, Seattle, WA 98115. You can also email the completed matching form to matching@alliance4ed.org

    UW and Washington state employees can contribute to the Eckstein Annual Campaign through the Combined Fund Drive. Just identify the Alliance for Education as the charity (code 0315592). In the donor section, note that your contribution should be directed to the Eckstein Annual Campaign #134.
