Eckstein Musical Rehearsal Information

Non-Emergency Conflicts for both Cast and Crew:  As was made clear on the audition/participation forms each student and family signed and agreed to, non-emergency conflicts are not acceptable this week.  This includes leaving early to go to another activity. It is not fair to your fellow students preparing their own performance, to make them have to cover for someone who is at another activity. If you are ill and missing school, you are not allowed to be at rehearsal (or performance) but if you are attending school, we all need you to be fulfilling your part of this story in this final stretch.

Tickets: The schoolpay link for pre-sales will close on Thursday.  Tickets can be bought at the door for the same price, but ***cash or check only***.  There is no way to process credit cards or venmo into our ASB account.  Presale Eckstein Musical Tickets.

(Your family can also purchase tickets in advance by sending a check into rehearsal with you. It should be made out to “Eckstein Middle School” with the memo field “Eckstein Musical”. Please include a note with the performance they would like tickets to, and the name to hold them under.)

Here is your rehearsal schedule for the week (all in the Auditorium unless otherwise noted):

Monday, May 5, 3:55 – 6:30 – Full Cast and Crew. Tech rehearsal with orchestra. (Focusing on first half of the show.)

Tuesday, May 6, 3:55 – 6:30 – Full Cast and Crew. Tech rehearsal with orchestra. (Focusing on second half of the show.)

Wednesday, May 7, 2:45 – 6:30 – Full Cast and Crew. Full dress tech with orchestra.

Thursday, May 8, 3:55 – 6:30 – Full Cast and Crew. Full dress tech with orchestra.

Friday, May 9, After school until the show:  Full Cast and Crew.  Some notes, work small moments if necessary.  Then pizza dinner, prep for the show, and open at 7:00!  Please plan to stay at the school through that night’s performance, unless an emergency arises.

Saturday, May 10, 5:30.  Actors and crew called at 5:30.  Set up for the show.  Closing performance at 7:00.  (Some strike after, check with directing team for specifics, but no student is released until specific cleanup tasks are complete.)
