Eckstein Band Program
Please visit our Eckstein Band Families Website for the latest information, upcoming events, updated calendar, volunteer opportunities and more.
Eckstein Band offers rich programming to all students, with and without prior musical experience. Prospective Students of band are asked to interview with Director Moc Escobedo (Mr. E) and are assigned a band level; students sign up for band as one of their electives for the year. During band, students learn how to work together on an amazing array of musical numbers – from classical pieces to popular movie soundtracks, and enjoy performance opportunities during the year, including assemblies and family concerts. Highest level bands may also take field trips and perform at festivals.
We offer multiple Ensembles to meet the needs and interests of our student population.
We ask band families to pay an annual Enrichment Fee per student. This pays for reeds, equipment, festival fees, music, and so much more! Scholarships are available.
We accept Donations, year-round! Donations make music possible for all students, regardless of means.
Volunteers Wanted to help keep the show running and support the hard work of Mr. E and the student musicians! Jobs can be big or small, one-time or year-round, and any/all help is appreciated.
