We are very excited that your child will be attending Eckstein Middle School. To help the transition to middle school, we invite your student to join us for WEB Day on the afternoon of Wednesday, August 25th.
Students will attend one of two sessions according to their Home Room assignment.

Sessions will be 1:00 – 3:00 OR 3:15 – 5:15.

WEB Day will also include the 6th Grade Back-to-School Fair. Back-to-School Fairs are also planned for our 7th and 8th graders on other days. Information on these other grade level fairs will be sent out soon.

During 6th Grade WEB Day and Back-to-School Fair students will:

• Participate in games as they get to know fellow classmates.
• Take a building tour.
• Receive their planners and schedules.
• Pick up a laptop
• Collect some school mementos
• And, have their first opportunity to take a school photo

WEB stands for Where Everyone Belongs and the goal of the day is to help our incoming sixth graders feel more comfortable and excited about starting school. We value everyone’s safety. Therefore this is a student-only function. All participants will be required to wear a mask at all times during programming.

While not required, students are highly encouraged to attend as it will be the first, fun introduction to their new school. For those unable to attend, no worries! There will be many opportunities during the first week of school to get to know other students and learn the values and structures of middle school.
