What: Eighth Grade Send-Off Celebration
Why: Celebrating Our Eighth Grade Students
When: Thursday, June 20, 2024 @ 5 – 6:30 pm
Where: 30th Avenue NE between 70th Street and 75th Street
Details:

• Students gather on 30th Avenue at 70th Street starting a 4:45 pm.
• They are given 11 x 17 name placards that they decorate at school during the day.
• Families and staff line up along 30th Avenue and cheer on our eighth graders as they walk up the street toward 75th Street.
• Student’s names are announced as they walk past the emcee.
• The parade route takes them east on 75th Street and then to the back of the school, ending in the cafeteria.
• Refreshments for families and students will be available in the cafeteria.
• The Eighth-Grade video will be showing in the cafeteria.
