Library End of the Year Reminders

• Library books are due June 9th. If students are still using a book for a class, there are no fines for overdue books, so they can turn them in as soon as they are done. If students want to keep books for the summer, they will have to email Ms. Sterling emsterling@seattleschools.org to renew them on June 10th! Fines are only for lost books so if there is a fine listed and the book is turned in, the fine goes away. • Summer checkout begins June 10th. Books checked out for the summer will be due on Friday Sept. 5th when we are back in the fall!
• If students read 10 Eagles Read books semester 2, they will be invited to the Eagles Read pizza party during both lunches on Friday, June 13th.
• Laptops will be returned Tues. June 17th with your classes. If you are leaving before that, you need to bring your laptop to Ms. Sterling in the library.
• While there is no summer reading required at Eckstein, if students do Seattle Public Library’s Book Bingo, they can bring it in, email Ms. Sterling, or show Ms. Sterling a picture of it filled out in Sept. and earn a prize!
• Want book suggestions? Check out the Eckstein library website! New Eagles Read books for next year have been chosen and are listed there and you can read them over the summer if you want!
