Mental Health Awareness Week – May 12-16

Mental Health Awareness Week – May 12-16
This week is designed to support student wellness and stress management during testing season. Activities will take place in Portable 8 or outdoors, depending on the weather. Each day will focus on a different wellness theme:
Friday – Take What You Need Wall
Students can write and take positive affirmations. The wall will be ongoing and student-driven, encouraging peers to support one another and help build a culture of kindness and care throughout the month.
Monday – Yoga Day
Calming movement and breathing to help students feel grounded and ready for the week.
Tuesday – Coloring Day
A quiet, creative space where students can relax and de-stress before testing.
Wednesday – No Activity (State Testing)
Thursday – Cozy & Calm Day
A chill zone with tea, soft lighting, and calm music to help students decompress after testing.
